How to Get a Coke Sponsorship
Getting sponsors for your event or organization can help provide funds for equipment, supplies, uniforms and anything else you may need. Big corporations lend themselves as sponsors as a way to show their support for a specific social or economic cause or as a way to promote their company name and products. According to the guidelines set forth by Coca-Cola Company, securing a sponsorship from the company can be achieved if your organization, event or cause fit into their commitment to social responsibility or their promotional and marketing strategies.
Go to the official informational website for Coca-Cola. At the top of the page, click on the “Contact Us” tab. A new page will upload.
Locate and click on the “Frequently Asked Questions” tab on the left-hand side of the page.
Click on “Sponsorships” once the new page uploads.
Read the first question titled “What will the Coca-Cola Company sponsor” to find out if you qualify for a sponsorship from Coca-Cola.
Compose a detailed proposal about your organization or event once you determine that it is in line with the sponsorship qualifications outlined by Coca-Cola. If it is an organization, include the organization name, location and purpose. Outline specifically what the funds will be used for and who it will benefit. Include an itemized breakdown of supplies, equipment, services and other items that will be acquired with the funds. If it is an event, give detailed information about what kind of event it is, how many people will be in attendance, and the date, time and place it will occur.
Submit your proposal to the Coca-Cola Company. The address listed on the website, as of October 2010, for sponsorship proposal submissions is: Industry and Consumer Affairs, The Coca-Cola Company, DUN 500, P.O. Box 1734, Atlanta, GA 30301.
Allow four to six weeks for Coca-Cola to respond to your sponsorship proposal submission. If you have questions before you receive a response, contact them at the contact number or address listed on the company website.
